Will Suri be Raised Catholic?Katie has allegedly been talking to Catholic priests, and wants to enroll Suri in “kiddie Catholicism” classes, eCanadaNow reports.
Katie, who grew up in Toledo, Ohio, was raised Catholic. She converted to Scientology when she met Tom Cruise in 2005.
It’s been reported that she has contacted a close high school friend, Meghann Birie, that she has not spoken to in a couple of years. A source said that Katie told Meghann she can’t believe she abandoned her old life.
Reports have also stated that Katie plans to visit her family with Suri this summer and has invited her parents to the set of Mad Money in Louisiana.

Usmagazine.com reports that Katie and Suri were shopping at the local Target store, and Katie called the police when a pair of photographers made her feel uneasy. Katie is in Shreveport to film the movie Mad Money, also starring Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton.
Although the incident was scary for Katie, apparently she is enjoying her stay in Shreveport. The Shreveport Times quoted Katie saying, “I met some really great people, and it was nice. They did recognize me, and it was a pleasure meeting them. We had nice chats about kids, and it was lovely.”

Katie spent her 28th birthday playing Santa to an underprivileged family. The actress celebrated her recent birthday by visiting a family in East Los Angeles to deliver gifts and a Christmas tree. It woud be interesting to find out what she got for them. It is our guess that the dad got a new plasma television, the mom a gift certificate credit card, and a Nintendo Wii for the kids.
